Celebrity Big Brother finale: Marissa Jaret Winokur backyard interview highlights

Tonight, Marissa Jaret Winokur managed to come home with a win on the Celebrity Big Brother finale, and it was a surprising one to some at home. She played a solid game and was loyal to Ross Mathews, but the perception for the most part was that he was the one who made most of the moves. Because of that, though, she also didn’t make anyone altogether mad. This was a classic case of someone know how to best play the game to not get themselves in trouble with the jury. That was enough to ensure that Marissa took home the grand prize, and six out of the total nine votes.

So what did Marissa have to say after the fact about her win? Here are a few highlights from her backyard interview with CBS Los Angeles.

On choosing Ross to compete against in the end – “I would rather lose to Ross than win against anybody else”

On Ross taking home Favorite Houseguest – “Ross winning fan favorite is probably more important to him right now.”

On the overall experience – “This was the most amazing experience. This was crazy … I laughed so hard it hurt.”

On what she plans to do with the money – “I promised my son that if I won, he wanted a warped wall from American Ninja Warrior — now I have to get him [that] … I didn’t plan on winning. That wasn’t a plan. I was just coming in to have a really amazing experience.”

Here’s one thing that is funny — Marissa has NO interest in doing The Amazing Race. There are so many different people from this show who would die for this.

As for what’s next for Marissa, she is hoping to be able to land a pilot for the upcoming fall season — which could be possible given that she did get all of the screen time over the past several weeks.
