Lucifer season 3 spoilers: Tom Ellis teases ‘High School Poppycock,’ Chloe story

Lucifer season 3 episode 15 - Tom Ellis

Monday night’s Lucifer season 3 episode “High School Poppycock” is airing very soon, and with that, there’s a lot to look forward to! This is going to be a really fun episode of the show, especially for those of you who love the Chloe character and the Deckerstar ‘ship. Even if the two don’t get together romantically in the hour, isn’t there still a lot to look forward to here regardless?

Recently Tom Ellis sat down with Entertainment Tonight for a Facebook Live session talking about the series, and while there he did his part to hype up this episode and what it’s all about. Lucifer and Chloe are going undercover at a high school reunion for a new case, and what should surprise many people out there are some of the reactions that they have to being a part of this.

When you think about this in theory, it’s easy to say that this is the sort of environment in which Lucifer would run wild and be fairly difficult to control. However, that’s not necessarily going to be the case. Instead, “High School Poppycock” is going to have more of an impact on Chloe. She never really had a proper high school experience, and with that may use being at this reunion as a way in which to live vicariously through these students around her. She’s going to be sucked in to this case perhaps more than she should and that’s going to be a strange experience for her — typically, she is the one who has to stop Lucifer from going crazy during a case but on this occasion, he may be the one who needs to interrupt her. It’s certainly a different vibe / experience and it should prove fun to see the series explore that a little bit more.

Expect a number of fun moments between Lucifer and Chloe; personally, we’re anticipating that this episode is going to be a great way to validate the bond the two parties have. There may still be secrets, but on an emotional level they have come to know and understand each other rather well. That should prove valuable as this case progresses.
