Celebrity Big Brother episode 11: Was Brandi Glanville or Ariadna Gutierrez evicted?
Pretty early on in the episode, you could see Brandi dressed up with a fancy dress in the living room — while everyone else was dressed up in workout gear. Someday, CBS should really do something about this for live evictions since it really does more or less give everything away in terms of what is going to happen. This wasn’t just obvious; it was obvious on top of obvious topped with even more obvious. It would’ve been hard for CBS to make this any more obvious if they tried!
Throughout the episode, the goal of the editors was trying to sell how Brandi went home, not that it was really all that much of a challenge. She irritated everyone in the house this past week, even to the point that some of the people who were previously willing to fight for her to stay no longer had all that much of an interest in doing so. She sank her own ship with some of her behavior.
The Veto Competition was fairly interesting still, mostly because it was a fun rendition of the classic face–morph competition that we’ve seen so many times in the past. The competitors basically had to guess various facial components of some of the world’s ugliest action figures. Ariadna Gutierrez won the Veto, which meant that Mark McGrath had to nominate someone else — he went with Marissa Jaret Winokur mostly as a means to ensure that Brandi went home. He knew that otherwise, there was a chance that everyone could flip on Omarosa.
The vote was almost unanimous, and you have to give Brandi some credit for going out of the game with some class, far better than most normal players do. Brandi was also fun in her interview with Julie — she made fun of herself, mocked James, and also was surprised when Julie told her that she knew about her “say something bad about Julie” dare in the house.
