Timeless season 2 key art all about the adventure
For starters, we do appreciate how the series has made this key art similar to the one for the first season, but different in a few subtle ways. For starters, Jiya is featured in the poster this time! While it would’ve been great to get Mason and Agent Christopher in there, it is nice that we’ve got another familiar face present alongside the Time Team trio of Rufus, Wyatt, and Lucy. There is also the presence once more of Garcia Flynn, though he is not so obviously evil this time around as he was in the season 1 art. Thie time, Flynn could be seen as a lot less of a black-and-white character. He does want some of the same things as Lucy in the destruction of Rittenhouse, but where things between them really start to differ is via the approach. Some of the things that Flynn is willing to do in order to destroy Rittenhouse are very much different from some of the things that Lucy wants.
We do love that there’s almost a comic-book feel to this key art with the colors and some of the thin black outlines around all of the characters. It captures the sort of spirit of fun that this show brings, while also setting up the stakes with the explosion in the background. You’ve also got glimpses of some various eras in history, and beyond that also a welcome sight of Lucy and Wyatt in the background. Based on some of the information that is out there about the pair at the moment, season 2 could be the point in the series where the two characters start to make their next move towards being a romantic item. It doesn’t seem as though it’s going to happen right away, but it is absolutely something to keep watch on as the second season of the show progresses.
