Timeless season 2 premiere bringing you big twists almost immediately

Timeless season 2 premiere

The Timeless season 2 premiere is coming to NBC on March 11, and all early scoop indicates that this is an episode that will leave your jaw hanging on the floor.

As you may have known already (CarterMatt has more photos over here, plus the one above, give some of it away), Lucy and company are going to be traveling back to World War I within the premiere episode. From there, Lucy will be find herself in a perilous situation.

How much so? Not only are you going to see a major historical figure in Marie Curie within this episode (entitled “The War to End All Wars”), but Lucy’s connections to Rittenhouse may run far deeper than either her or the Time Team first realized. Per SpoilerTV (who has obtained some premiere details from studio Sony), Lucy has managed to recruit the legendary chemist in order to help save the life of an American soldier in the war — someone who could end up having significant ties both to Rittenhouse and to Lucy herself. We don’t want to give too much away here, but the end result of this story could have some significant reverberations for the remainder of the season.

As for what is going to be coming up alongside this quest for Lucy, be prepared to see both Wyatt and Rufus finding their own means to get back to the past in order to help. Writing about Timeless season 2 is a CarterMatt favorite, and one of the biggest reasons for that was the sense of fun and adventure that comes from seeing Rufus, Lucy, and Wyatt together. It only feels right that all three characters would be back in the same place, if for no other reason than that this should allow for both a great deal of action and also a lot of drama. Without some of that, Timeless just wouldn’t be the show that it is. This episode is the jumping-off point most likely to a number of other interesting, dramatic storylines that will be coming up down the road.
