Wynonna Earp season 3: A mystery guest-star tease
In a new post on Twitter (see below), series star Tim Rozon confirmed that there is a special guest star on the episode the cast and crew are currently working on that will generate excitement. As for who it could be, that’s an almost-impossible question to answer given that there are thousands of possibilities just in terms of familiar faces from the television world. If we had to make a wishlist of just some names that would immediately excite us, it would probably go a little something like this.
Lucy Lawless – While Megan Follows ended up getting the role of Wynonna’s mother, is it possible that the producers found a different way to incorporate the Xena: Warrior Princess star into the series? We’d absolutely love that.
Sarah Michelle Gellar – Buffy the Vampire Slayer paved the way for a lot of other shows in this genre — it seems incredibly unlikely but it would absolutely be fun!
Anyone from Dark Matter – The two shows aired back to back on Syfy and with Dark Matter over, it’d be nice to see someone stop by as a way to pay homage to their timeslot companion.
Gillian Anderson – There’s probably an even smaller chance of this but just let us dream!
Anyone, regardless of whoever it is the guest appearance is probably going to make for a great time. We’ve got a hard time feeling as though Wynonna Earp would throw someone in for a role that didn’t suit them. It’s probably going to be fun, amazing, badass, and basically everything that we could possibly want.

Remember, new episodes of Wynonna Earp are going to premiere on Syfy later this year — hopefully this summer. There’s still so much time left to film this season that we’re hoping to get into some other great-star discussions in the future. With the passionate Earper fanbase that’s out there, we like to think that this is a series that would be appealing to actors wanting to build up more of a following — or to pay tribute to some of the fans that they already have.
