This Is Us season 2 episode 16 spoilers: Kate’s bachelorette party

Are you ready for This Is Us season 2 episode 16? We certainly are, if for no other reason than that we’re more than happy to see Kate’s bachelorette party. After all the super-dark, serious stuff that the NBC series went through when it comes to Jack’s death and his funeral, we do appreciate that we’re going to have a chance to focus on happier times for a little while.

02/27/2018 (09:00PM – 10:01PM) (Tuesday) : Kate and Toby go to Las Vegas for their bachelor/bachelorette parties. Meanwhile, Jack and Rebecca celebrate their anniversary.

If there’s anything in particular we’re excited to see on this episode, it’s just seeing Kate and Toby find their way to the altar by the end of the season. This is the event that we can all get behind and celebrate since it’s the culmination of this wonderful journey that the two parties have been on for quite some time now.

Will there be some significant stumbles along the way? At the moment we absolutely imagine so, given that no wedding out there is perfect. There are also approximately a billion or so things that can go wrong in Vegas. What This Is Us at the end of the day needs to remember is this: It’s not a show defined by misery and be terrible things happening to the Pearsons. The concern that it’s easy to have with the show is that it forges some sort of unhealthy relationship with sadness and that’s something that ends up defining it in the aftermath of Jack’s death. We know that NBC got a lot of attention over what happened with that but the publicity surrounding constant tragedies isn’t quite worth it. Sprinkle in a victory here and there!
