The Flash season 4 epsiode 14 video: The Fiddler’s powers and more
Is this character the series’ version of the Fiddler? That’s what some of the earliest indications seem to suggest since on paper, this person seems to be very much similar to the comic-book character with a few obvious twists. For starters, her alignment in this preview isn’t exactly clear but it seems as though, at least at first, she’s willing to listen to Barry Allen and Ralph Dibny as they come to her. On the show the character’s name is Izzy, and she’s aware that she has some powers that come from her ability to play the idea. Ralph also seems at least moderately interested in the character — heck, he suddenly seems to be modestly interested in country music now!

As for how Izzy can help stop DeVoe, it’s possible that her playing may be able to incapacitate the character in a way we haven’t seen to date. It’d probably have to be somewhat of a sneak attack, though, given the fact that DeVoe has so many powers already that make them one of the most nefarious foes that we’ve had a chance to see on the series. This is also a delicate situation just because DeVoe seems intent on stealing just about every power that thy can get their hands on — we’re still somewhat-worried that at the end of this, even Barry’s powers could be in danger at one point. (Granted, we don’t want to see Clifford in Barry’s body — we saw Barry play evil a season ago and there’s really no reason to dive back into that so soon.)
No matter what happens on The Flash season 4 episode 14, we absolutely do think that the series is finding its place now and has a little bit more momentum than it’s had at any other point since maybe season 2.
