Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 12 preview: Blackbeard’s treasure!

Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 12

We probably do not need to say what makes Legends of Tomorrow season 3 episode 12 a significant episode for many out there who are curious — most of the promotional material really speaks for itself. The Legends are going to operate without Sara Lance for a chance (which could prove interesting), and with that they’re going to get themselves in a whole mess of trouble.

To find out precisely how that happens, and where the Legends are going in time, the attached synopsis below does a good job of handing down some of the latest insight:

THE DEVIL’S TRIANGLE – When Sara (Caity Lotz) decides to take some private time, the Legends pursue a lead on the whereabouts of the long-lost Earth Totem. Without Sara’s knowledge, the Legends find themselves in 1717 to hunt for Blackbeard’s long-lost treasure, but in true Legends fashion things go awry. Meanwhile, Ray (Brandon Routh) feels guilty about something he has done and tries to make amends, which lands him in even bigger trouble. Dominc Purcell, Nick Zano, Maise Richardson-Sellers and Nick Zano also stars. Chris Tammaro directed the episode written by Grainne Godfree & Ubah Mohamed (#312). Original airdate 2/26/2018.

Here’s one of the weirder things about some recent Legends of Tomorrow press releases one of the early ones for tonight’s episode mentioned Keiynan Lonsdale being a part of the cast; meanwhile, this one does not. It really doesn’t mean anything on the surface, but it is something interesting. What’s also interesting here is seeing Ray Palmer get a prominent story for the first time in a while as an adult, something that hopefully is going to carry through over the next few weeks. We’re getting potentially an opportunity coming up to see some different dimensions to Ray and also a better understanding of his role on the team. (Dise note: Is anyone else out there ‘shipping Ray and Zari? It feels like the right time for him to have a love interest that is actually his own as opposed to one who was originally intended to be with someone else.)

On a fun note, who doesn’t want to see a pirate episode?
