Victoria season 2 episode 6 video (PBS): Tension mounts with Lehzen, Albert
At the heart of this said tension is going to be two characters who have a knack for strong opinions and speaking their minds — Albert is on one side whereas Lehzen is one the other. Much of the source of this said feud really seems to come down to control — how much of it Albert wants versus how much of it Lehzen actually has. This is less about her trying to take away and more about her just trying to do what she considers to be best.
Nonetheless, it’s clear that Albert is not altogether fond of this — just as it is also clear that this is probably going to be something that plays out over the course of this entire episode. We imagine continuing to see this escalate throughout the episode — heck, we can almost guarantee it.
This episode is going to prove itself to be critical to establishing whatever the endgame for season 2 is, especially when it comes to how Victoria continues to live her life in the way that she best sees fit — or at least adheres to the current state of her marriage. Albert has struggled mightily this season when it comes to figuring out just how he is going to be a part of this world — he wants to find a place and a voice of his home, both at home to go along with out among the people.
Victoria season 2 episode 6 will be followed coming up by the extended finale, which aired as the Christmas Special in the UK. That moves the story into another era in Victoria and Albert’s life, one that is full of celebration but also a few hard choices to go along with it.
