Gotham season 4 episode 13: Is this the big Jerome episode?
When the first details were released for 4×12 airing on March 1 one of the things that shocked us was that there was no mention of Cameron Monaghan either in the synopsis or in the list of guest stars. Luckily, that is not the case here. The Gotham season 4 episode 13 synopsis is a dead giveaway:
Ivy (guest star Peyton List) tracks a secret project on which Wayne Enterprises is working and begins to target anyone that can give her information. Meanwhile, Jerome (guest star Cameron Monaghan) becomes obsessed with Penguin in Arkham. Also, Gordon begins to second guess his deal with Sofia and an unsettling dream sequence shakes up Bruce in the all-new “A Dark Knight: A Beautiful Darkness” episode of GOTHAM airing Thursday, March 8 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.
How exciting is this episode? We absolutely love much of how it sounds on paper given that we’re finally getting a collision course between Penguin and Jerome. These are two of the best Batman villains out there finally squaring off in the same place. You have to imagine that there are going to be some significant fireworks as a result of that as the two trade barbs either physically or verbally.
Other interesting odds and ends…
-Obviously, this episode is going to further along the story of Ivy, who seems to actually be the Big Bad for the first batch of episodes after the break.
-Who wants to bet that Bruce Wayne’s dream sequence somehow involves a few bats?
-Sofia feels mostly like the Big Bad villain at the end of this season as opposed to one that is going to burn out quickly. It feels pretty darn clear at this point that the Fox series has larger plans established for this character than just her burning out here at the hands of Jim Gordon.
