Celebrity Big Brother live feed spoilers: Finger-pointing before Veto (day 15, morning)
It’s hard to play the rat game. You have to keep your stories straight and figure out how to make every single person happy and trust you with everything you say. It may not be a likable way to play the game, but if you can pull it off it’s effective. Ross Mathews is trying to pull it off, and has spent a good portion of this morning massaging Shannon Elizabeth and James Maslow’s egos after they were put on the block. They are eager to play the blame game and are looking towards Omarosa as the responsible party for some of their pain.
Omarosa, regardless of whether or not she’s that guilty, is just going to be the scapegoat for most of the season. The irony here is that Ross and Marissa Jaret Winokur are very much responsible for what happened to Shannon, but they don’t want to ‘fess up to it likely out of fear. They clearly seem to think that Shannon will leave the house, see the game that they’ve played, and then respect them and want to vote for them in the end. We’re not sure that it works that way. Go talk to Danielle Reyes from Big Brother 3 about this subject.

We’re hoping that the Power of Veto Competition is happening a little later in the day. The post-Veto Competition gameplay is our personal favorite since there are so many crazy things that could happen. In this case, though, the best thing that could happen is the Veto is not played. With the current configuration of the house it’s hard to imagine a situation where both James and Shannon last past the eviction show on Friday. It’s best to just let the two fight among themselves for votes the next few days. Whoever survives of the two has at least a reasonable shot of lasting just because there are some other prominent duos and alliances in the house that could be targeted instead.
