Chicago Med season 3: What’s in store for Dr. Will Halstead?
Will and Natalie’s son, Owen – In a recent episode we had the chance to see Will interact with the one person in Natalie’s life she loves more than anyone — her son, Owen. If Will can win over him, then he’s setting the path to be around for a long time to come. The only problem is that Owen appears to be giving Will a hard time; he recently threw a block at Will, leaving him with a bruise under his eye. While we want Will and Natalie to be each others’ endgame, we like that Will is having to work to win over Owen. It makes it intriguing to watch and this is something we hope the show explores some more as the season continues.
Will and Natalie – We know that the two will collide on certain medical issues and treatments, because it’s only natural that it happen when you work with the person you’re also dating. However, we want to see them over time prove that they can withstand any issue that comes their way. We want the writers to challenge them and this might mean breaking them up, but at the end of the day it will help both characters grow. Any fan deep down likes to see their favorite ‘ship fight and struggle to be together because we love watching their journey to their happy life. This is why we want the show to begin exploring their path to a happy life together.
An emotional journey – Finally, we want the writers to throw Will into a case that will hit him deep down. We want to see a more emotional Will because we want to know him more on a deeper level. After everything Will sees day in and day out at the hospital, what’s something that will challenge him? This is something we would love for the writers to think about diving into.
