Blue Bloods season 8 episode 16 spoilers: Danny, Baez look into a double life

Blue Bloods season 8

Blue Bloods season 8 episode 16 will be the best of time and the worst of times — have all, its title is “Tale of Two Cities.” How do you not make a Charles Dickens reference here?

Ultimately, we do think that there are some hard times coming for some of the bad guys in the various storylines coming up — the NYPD are on the case. We’ve got some great expectations that they will be able to resolve some of what plagues the city and get justice for the victims. (Okay, we’ll stop with the references now.)

Check out the Blue Bloods season 8 episode 16 synopsis below if you do want a little bit more insight now surrounding what is coming up:

“Tale of Two Cities” – Danny and Baez investigate the murder of a man who was living a double life with two separate families, and Anthony tries to resist when Erin asks him to help investigate his old partner, whom she suspects of stealing drug money. Also, Frank deliberates between two candidates for the chief of transit position, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, March 9 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

There are a few different things worth being excited about when it comes to this episode, but there is also a clear omission: Where in the world are Jamie and Eddie, again? We really don’t understand the sudden ghosting of these characters unless CBS is either trying to save money by not having them in every episode or there is just some really weird creative that they are pushing. That’s something we hope there is some more information on down the road. (In this case, we hope that they are appearing in the episode but just aren’t mentioned in the synopsis — that does happen every now and then.)

Remember that Blue Bloods season 8 episode 16 is the second one airing on CBS following the Olympics. There will be another installment airing on March 2 on the other side of the Games.
