Shadowhunters season 3: The latest Clary, Alec teases

Shadowhunters season 2 finale review

Shadowhunters season 3 premieres in just over a month now, and the great thing about the buildup to it at this point is that things are only going to get more exciting now every step of the way! We anticipate Freeform rolling things out in terms of new teasers, photos, and episode details as we get closer to the next episode airing.

Also, you better expect that we’re going to be around to cover much of it! Remember, CarterMatt already shared some details from the upcoming March 20 premiere…

Today, what we’ve got for you at the bottom of this article are a couple more teaser tweets from co-showrunner Todd Slavkin over the past few days that give you a small sense as to what producers are planning for some of the core characters in between Clary and Alec.

Clary – Here, what we’re getting is a very clear reminder that Clary’s angel blood powers may have a role to play coming up — in addition to getting to see angels coming up again in general. Given that this show does have so many different mythologies that it can play into, we don’t blame them for trying to use as many of them as they possibly can.

Alec – Meanwhile, with Alec it’s not so much a teaser as much as a reminder to all of the great roles that Matthew Daddario’s characters get to play in the lives around him. We like to think of this as a sign that he’ll wear all of these different hats at some point within the first ten episodes in particular.

As of right now Shadowhunters season 3 is in production on the second half of episodes, which will hopefully premiere a little bit later this year. We imagine that producers are going to be a little more tight-lipped on some of these installments, given that there is no real reason to rush things along.
