The Bachelorette rankings: Where Tia Booth, Becca Kurfin, Bekah Martinez stand

Tia Booth

Who are the most likely contenders to be the next Bachelorette? At this point in every Bachelor season, this is something that we like to examine. We feel like we know the contestants fairly well at this point, and we absolutely think that we know producers well enough to know what they want.

Below, you can check out our own personal rankings of who we think would be the best star of The Bachelorette, based mostly on a few different things including personality, edit, and who we perceive to be the production favorite. At the bottom of this article, we’re bringing you a poll to share your favorite!

Jacqueline Trumbull / Lauren Burnham – We just don’t see it for either one. With Jacqueline it’s more about being the right character type, and with Lauren it’s mostly about her just starting to become a key player in this season.

5. Bekah Martinez – She’s a really interesting contestant on this season — casting-wise, we’re not sure there has ever been someone on the show quite like her. Yet, we don’t foresee ABC using her as The Bachelorette — maybe if she’s still single in three or four years it could be more of a distinct possibility.

4. Seinne Fleming – Would we watch this season? Absolutely, given that Seinne is super-smart, interesting, and worthy of love. If this was our own list of who we wanted to see lead the show she’d probably be #1 or #2; unfortunately, we just don’t see ABC having another minority for two Bachelorette seasins in a row.

3. Kendall Long – She’s a bit of a darkhorse given that she’s super-quirky and we’re not sure how many taxidermy segments that a series can really pull off. We feel like there’s a really good shot you get Kendall on Bachelor in Paradise, though; she and Bekah are the two closest things to locks that this season has for Paradise this summer.

2. Becca Kurfin – Becca is a pretty conventional choice — she’s gotten a good bit of screen time throughout the season, she has a pretty ordinary job, and she will be relatable to most viewers. While she’s not the biggest personality in the world, think back to Desiree Hartsock and Ashley Hebert. We wouldn’t say that either one of them were enormous characters and they ended up being two of the best Bachelorettes ever in terms of finding the right relationship.

1. Tia Booth – Based on where we are at the moment, Tia is easily the pick for producers. Why wouldn’t she be? Were it not for Rachel Raven Gates probably would’ve been last year and Tia brings much of the same sort of stuff to the table — personality, humor, and passion. She pops off the screen and plays really well in The Bachelor’s core audience in Middle America.
