The Good Doctor episode 15 promo: When a prisoner is a donor

The Good Doctor episode 15 isn’t going to come on the air until later this month, but you don’t have to wait to see just how high some of the stakes are going to be for Dr. Shaun Murphy in this episode! We’ve seen him take on many a challenging case in the past but there’s something about this one that stands out more so than perhaps any other.

In this new promo below, one of the things that you see is that there is a dying boy at the hospital. He’s desperately in need of a donor, but the problem here is that one of his only feasibly matches may be a man who is currently behind bars for murder. As you would imagine, this is not idea for pretty much anyone. This is going to be a complex and pretty darn difficult case to take on given that there are a couple of different things at play here:

1. Making sure the donor is willing to actually donate – That’s not something that is altogether easy to guarantee. You’ve got someone who is apparently behind bars for murder — obviously, there’s a reason why he is separated from most of society. We’re not exactly going to say that this person is the right poster child for morality.

2. This said prisoner getting violent – By the end of this promo that is very clearly an issue, given that this prisoner seems to be intent on causing problems and starting up mayhem. As a matter of fact, he looks to be threatening one of the prison guards.

Consider this yet another reminder that life is never altogether easy for some of the doctors on this show — there is always some other roadblock that surfaces and causes them some unforeseen trouble. They just have to figure out how to prepare for it.
