Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 13 video: Meet Andy Herrera

Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 13 on Thursday, March 1 is going to be so much more than just your standard episode of the ABC series. This is going to be a proper introduction to Station 19, the long-awaited spin-off that revolves around firefighters doing their part in order to make sure that Seattle is a safe place to be. Ben Warren is now among them, but he’s far from the only member of the team. This episode is going to also focus on Andy Herrera (Jaina Lee Ortiz), the female lead of the spin-off who finds herself in a position where she has to do everything she can at the hospital in order to save a life.

Below, the Grey’s Anatomy season 14 episode 13 synopsis (per Entertainment Weekly) offers up some more news regarding what’s coming:

“Seattle Firefighters, Ben Warren and Andy Herrera, head to Grey Sloan after rescuing two boys that are injured in a house fire. With one of the boys lives literally in Andy’s hands, her skills are put to the test. Meanwhile, the doctors are hard at work on their projects for the Grey Sloan Surgical Innovation Contest and Amelia brings Tom Koracick in to consult on her and Alex’s patient.”

Given that we weren’t altogether sure we would ever see Tom Koracick on the show again we’re happy to have him back. As for some of the other stories, obviously the Innovation Contest will be going on for a while — one of the larger questions we’ve got in regards to that is what the projected endgame is really going to be. Will there be some sort of medical advancement that gets one of the doctors fame and fortune? (Given how rich some of these doctors are thanks to the lawsuit settlement, we really shouldn’t say that fortune s a major concern for them.)

This episode is going to be meant mostly as a way to get your foot in the door fr the upcoming spin-off series prior to it  If the writers can get you on board rooting for Andy Herrera, then there’s a pretty good chance you will want to watch what comes next.
