Celebrity Big Brother live feed spoilers: The prolonged decision

While the women’s alliance has been fairly strong through some of Celebrity Big Brother this season, there is starting to be a legitimate reason to worry about it. Shannon Elizabeth has done a great job through most of this game of strategizing and trying to think ahead, but there is such a thing as doing it too much to the point where you start to get yourself in some trouble. We do wonder if she is doing that with James Maslow.

We do feel like, at least for some of the women, there is a comfort in just playing these safe and going with the original plan to take James out. However, there is a danger to that still. If Shannon figures out a way to keep James, he owes her — that’s an ally that she would not have had if Chuck were to stay in the game. This also gives her more options for down the road. Shannon needs to figure out some more long-term allies given that, at least at present, Omarosa seems to be building some sort of army of her own — she’s done a great job of pointing people towards a wide array of different targets that are not herself.

We love a good waffling session with the first vote, mostly because it does set the tone for really the remainder of the season. If we were to have it out way, we would want Shannon to lead the charge to keep James around. Chuck isn’t really bringing that much to the show when it comes to entertainment and James is far more likely to stir things up and cause trouble in the future. He may be over-confident, but that’s something we often find appealing in Big Brother players. There’s just an eagerness that is present with him to play the game that we are not quite seeing with Chuck.

Luckily, the good news is simply this: We are going to have some sort of answer surrounding the vote later on tonight when the two-hour episode airs. With that long of an episode, there’s a pretty good chance that we could see all sorts of interesting drama unfold.
