Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 16 spoilers: First news on ‘Ruthless’

Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 16

What is coming on Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 16? Let’s start with the following: The title is “Ruthless,” but don’t worry — there will still be some lightness mixed in here. As with most other Lethal Weapon episodes there is a wide array of different genres being mixed together for a fun, entertaining viewing experience.

Below, the Lethal Weapon season 2 episode 16 synopsis does do a good job of setting up some of what you can expect to see. CarterMatt has the detials:

After the city’s gun buy-back program is robbed, the team is on a hunt for those responsible. Meanwhile, Murtaugh walks on thin ice with Trish, Riggs finds an unlikely friend in Ruthie (guest star Swoosie Kurtz), and Captain Avery is reunited with a college “frenemy” (guest star Wallace Langham) who has key information about the case in the all-new “Ruthless” episode of LETHAL WEAPON airing Tuesday, Feb. 27.

Obviously, there is a good bit of fun to be had in this episode judging from some of the information that we’ve got here, but we do also think that the whole gun buy-back storyline could be especially dangerous. There are people out there who have a lot of firearms and they may have zero problem using them. It’s also nice to get a little bit of backstory about Captain Avery and to see Riggs form a new friendship. We do think that Riggs needs some new, positive influences around him — here’s to hoping that this is one since there are clearly a number of ways in which this situation could go south for him.

Obviously, one of the largest problems when it comes to this episode is simply this: Having to wait for so long in order to see this episode play out.  While it makes sense for Fox to delay the next Lethal Weapon until after the Olympics, that doesn’t necessarily make said wait easy.
