NCIS season 15 photo: See Drew Carey, Mark Harmon in action!
The image at the bottom of this article, (via Entertainment Weekly), is your first look at the upcoming March 6 episode that will feature the Price Is Right host in the role of Marine Sergeant John Ross. He is a man who finds himself falsely accused over the course of the episode, and it is going to be up to him alongside Gibbs (Harmon) in order to figure out how to clear his name if at all possible. While there may be some moments in which the two of them are getting along, it also feels clear as though these two are going to go toe to toe. One of the latest photos below is more verification of that tension.
In a statement to the aforementioned website, Carey had the following to say:
“Working on NCIS was a terrific experience for me … The entire cast and crew were so welcoming and professional. You can’t believe how hard they work to do that show.”
This is not the first time in which Carey has done work outside of his typical comedy comfort zone (does anyone else remember Geppetto?), but CarterMatt is still glad to see him taking on some different material here and there. That does expand his work as an actor — to go along with that, this is a nice gift for CBS lovers who watch most of the network’s shows. You get to watch Drew often during the daytime, and this marks a chance in order to check him out more at night. There aren’t too many opportunities to do that these days other than seeing him in a rare primetime edition of The Price is Right.

As for whether or not it’s possible that we get a chance to see Carey again beyond this episode, we’ve learned to never say never. NCIS does have a great habit of seeing guest stars back, even years after they make their first appearance on the show.
