Supernatural season 13 episode 14 return date for Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles
Unfortunately, Supernatural is, like the vast majority of the other shows that are out there on network TV, going off the air for the Winter Olympics. As a result of that, there is going to be no new episode airing in one week’s time. The same goes for the week after. As a matter of fact, you are going to be waiting until we get around to Thursday, March 1 in order to see more new episodes of the series. That is a super-long time to wait, but we absolutely think at the moment that it’s going to be worth it for a number of different reasons. For starters, this season has introduced a great roster of new characters, brought in some old wins, and in general given us a lot of interesting story to be excited about. They just need to keep the momentum going when the series comes back in a little bit under a month.
Even with the show off of the air, there are two very-clear things that we would like to see happen that are still very much tied to it:
1. An official season 14 renewal – Supernatural is a show that still performs well, and we’ve heard the same familiar refrain time and time again from CW network head Mark Pedowitz — they have every intention of keeping the program around for however long Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles want to keep at it. They still be engaged, so there’s no reason to entertain that discussion right now. (Typically, by this point in the year The CW actually has some shows ordered for more seasons — they are just a little slow on the uptake this year.)
2. A decision on Wayward Sisters – The network does now know how most viewers feel about the spin-off, and we would like to think that would enable them to make some sort of informed decision (at least in theory) as to whether or not they would like to see the series back.
