This Is Us season 2 episode 16 return date for Mandy Moore, cast
Per NBC, the next episode is going to be coming on the air on Tuesday, February 27 — right on the other side of the Olympic Games. Unfortunately, there is not a whole lot of news about this episode out there right now, whether it be the title or an official synopsis.
Now in terms of what CarterMatt would like to see, there are quite a few different things. For starters, it would be great to get a little bit more insight as to the flash-forwards, which were introduced for the first time during the Super Bowl episode. Meanwhile, we would also like to move a little bit closer to Kate’s wedding day. While we don’t have 100% confirmation that this is something that is coming this season, at the same time we do believe that it would benefit This Is Us to have a happy moment to build towards.
Beyond just that, how about getting a chance to see Kevin really on the mend? The character has been working to rebuild his life after his time in rehab, and it would be nice to see him get some redemption professionally. Thanks to that conversation he had in the Super Bowl episode, we do actually think that Kevin was able to check his father’s name off of his list. He’s actually started to make amends with many of the different people in his life. The next step is trying to move forward.
Probably the best thing that we can say when it comes to This Is Us is that there is no reason to worry when it comes to the future of the series. There has already been a third season ordered by NBC, and that gives Dan Fogelman and the writers a chance to craft a few more unique, emotional stories. There is no reason to hurry anything along.
