NCIS season 15 episode 14 sneak peek: McGee’s new superpowers

As we get into Tuesday night’s NCIS season 15 episode 14, apparently one of the things that you’re going to get is an opportunity to see McGee showcase more of his new-found superpowers … with multitasking high on the list.

What’s going on in this new CBS sneak preview below? We can describe it using rather-simple terms: This is Tim figuring out how much more he is capable of doing in a limited amount of time, something that he may not have understood nearly as much before having twins. There is a focus and resolve that comes with this. The show is not making this up in the slightest — we’ve heard about this phenomenon from a number of parents over the years. Once you have kids, you find a way to tune out most of the nonsense and focus on what’s important – like we said… superpowers! For McGee, that means turning him into an NCIS super-agent who closes cases, takes care of details like fixing up the company cars, or being able to Spidey-sense Gibbs hovering behind him to tell him that he needs to grab his gear for one of the latest cases that the team is taking on.

Basically, McGee is everywhere all at once and it’s amazing. Torres and Bishop are, clearly, very much impressed with this.

While this sneak peek is fun in the way that many other similar ones are, this episode is going to take a turn for the serious soon enough courtesy of getting a chance to see McGee and the rest of the team heading on a mission that could eventually put them on a collision course with one Gabriel Hicks. If you recall, this man established himself earlier this season as one of the most notorious villains that the team has encountered in some time.

Don’t expect a definite end to “Keep Your Friends Close” tonight. Per most indications that CarterMatt is seeing reveals that this episode is going to carry over directly into “Keep Your Enemies Closer,” the next new episode airing near the end of the month. That will continue this arc and further up the ante on the drama.
