Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 16 spoilers: Tani, Junior go undercover

Are you excited to see a big Tani – Junior episode on Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 16? Well, you’re going to get a chance to see it at the start of next month! We’ve seen in the flash-forwards, (or at least the ones that exist within Danny’s mind) that Meaghan Rath and Beulah Koale’s characters end up getting married. Based on what we’ve seen from the two characters to date, there is a big part of us that hopes Danny is a seer. The two are fun together and we’ve ended up caring for them so much faster than we thought that we would.

So what makes this episode so different for these two? Judging from the Hawaii Five-0 season 8 episode 16 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below, they are going to be undercover for a murder case:

“O nā hōkū o ka lani wale no kai ‘ike i kahi o Pae” – Tani and Junior go undercover as prospective parents in order to infiltrate a private school where the headmaster was murdered. Also, Adam’s life is on the line when he is held captive and forced to produce a hidden massive amount of money, on HAWAII FIVE-0, Friday, March 2 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

(“O nā hōkū o ka lani ka i ‘ike ia Pae”” is Hawaiian for “Only the Stars of Heaven Know Where Pae Is”)

Doesn’t this sound fun to anyone else? We like the idea of them figuring out how to play a couple, in addition to seeing if they have a lot of chemistry in this setting.

As the episode gets closer to airing, one of the things that we do wonder is how it will be promoted — is it for the Junior / Tani story, or what is happening at the moment when it comes to Adam?

One final interesting thing that we want to point out here — this Hawaii Five-0 synopsis doesn’t mention a single character who was a series regular before this season. We of course anticipate seeing many of the longtime cast members on the show, but this is still something that’s just interesting to note from a storytelling point of view.
