Kevin Can Wait season 2 episode 17 return date for Kevin James series
After tonight’s all-new episode on CBS, you are going to be waiting a while in order to see what’s next — think in terms of Monday, February 26. As for the reason for the delay, that’s really simple: It’s all about the Olympics! The games in South Korea are starting off a little later this week and as a result of that, we’re seeing a good bit of competition being bumped off elsewhere. CBS, like any other smart network, doesn’t want to run against most of that.

“Wingmen” – After Kevin and Vanessa witness Kyle’s success using a dating app that requires a close friend to choose one’s perfect match, they agree to be each other’s wingman and try their hand at matchmaking, on KEVIN CAN WAIT, Monday, Feb. 26 (8:00-8:30 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
For those of you who just expected Kevin James and Leah Remini’s characters on this show to hook up a la The King of Queens all over again, this story seems to be thumbing its nose at that idea in favor of doing something a little bit different, but hopefully still exciting. The objective here appears to be seeing whether or not these two can trust each other in order to find them the right person. They’ve got the history with each other that should make them good at this … with the emphasis on the word should. Reality here is that this could be a total trainwreck. It’s been long enough (at least in his timeline) for Kevin to be able to move on from the death of Donna, and he’s had plenty of support along the way.
We’ll see if “Wingmen” serves as a way in which to keep momentum going for Kevin Can Wait. There was a huge surge in the ratings at the start of the season, likely due to all of the Erinn Hayes headlines; after that, though, the series has started to level off a little bit.
