Interested in learning the Blue Bloods season 8 episode 15 return date? If so, we are very much pleased to offer up some of that information here!
Over the next month, you’re going to be seeing the Donnie Wahlberg CBS off the air for one reason more so than any other: The Olympics. Because of the Games in South Korea, the network is giving all of their shows a break. They will return on Friday, March 2 with all-new episodes, and they will air hopefully almost every week from that point until the finale.
There are 22 episodes presumably in season 8, and with that in mind, there are still eight more episodes to go this season. Other than a break for NCAA Basketball in March, we don’t see there being any more substantial hiatuses the rest of the way this season. Having fewer hiatuses, other than the ones that are absolutely necessary, should be helpful for the series’ performance moving forward. CBS’ schedule may be great in how they spread out their episodes throughout the season; yet, it’s also somewhat problematic in that these gaps of repeats can be confusing. Nobody likes to have to check their local guide week in and week out to know when the series is back! You should get at least two new episodes of Blue Bloods at the start of March, and following that you’ll have a small opportunity to catch your breath before the big Games are upon us.
Hopefully, at some point in March we’re also going to learn if Blue Bloods is coming back for another season, as well! This is a show that has firmly established itself as a ratings titan for Friday nights — it outperforms almost everything else on the night other than some other CBS shows here and there. Really, it feels like this is a series that will stick around for however long the cast and crew want to keep making more. One other thing that feels true is that Blue Bloods is a destination for a lot of prominent guest stars including Ernie Hudson, David Zayas, and Whoopi Goldberg.
