SEAL Team episode 13 sneak peek: Jason passes along bad news

With SEAL Team episode 13 coming in just under 24 hours, doesn’t now feel like the right time in order to take a larger look at some of what is coming?

At the center of this installment does appear to be one thing above all else: A mission that comes about at the last minute. Jason calls Alana to explain the situation that is going on, one in which Steve is reported as missing for the time being. It’s a little too early to know all of the finer details as to what is going on, but this scene illustrates perfectly the team effort that is necessary in Jason’s life. He and Alana need to be on the same page, and they have to work together when surprises (both good and bad) happen at the very last second.

This sneak preview does a great job of setting up what seems to be one of the most emotional episodes of the season in “Getaway Day.” Based on some of the previews that are out there for this episode already we’ve seen military caskets; as a result of that, we’re worried and it’s pretty darn hard not to be. We’ve gotten invested in these characters and at the end of the episode, we want everyone to be okay!

Of course, it’s very well possible that by the time we get to the end of the hour, everyone we really know will still be alive and that the deceased are just some other team members we don’t know a whole lot about. Still, the message being passed along here is that these people matter to Jason and some of the other characters; in turn, they really should matter to us.

In the end, the last piece of advice that we can really offer is to get some tissues ready, since we’ve got a feeling that this is going to be a pretty emotional hour of TV coming up.
