Absentia: Stana Katic – Facebook live video highlights

Stana Katic's Absentia

As we get a little bit closer to the premiere of Absentia on Amazon Friday, we’ve got something that is certainly really exciting — a new Facebook Live featuring star Stana Katic!

In the video below, you can see Katic respond to a number of questions when it comes to playing Emily, including her ritual before filming various scenes, how she took from high school of all things, and also what she enjoyed about being an executive producer on the project behind the scenes.

Also, who knew that Katic had a Gandalf impression in her arsenal? (Even though Absentia is a drama, there are actually a number of super-funny moments within this video.) While it appears as though Stana is the only person in the room for this interview, you actually hear some of the other people off-camera laughing at various times.

For those who are wondering, Katic doesn’t so much have a favorite episode — yet, she does have some favorite moments from various episodes. She offers up plenty of praise for her co-stars, including Patrick Heusinger and Cara Theobold.

Above all else, if you love Katic and you’ve got about 15 minutes to burn today, you really need to check this video out! While we know that Stana has done some other press for the show already, this is one of the best opportunities we’ve had to see her discuss the characters and some of the work that was put into making Absentia a great show that is worthy of your time.

If you love Absentia, we’re hoping to get things set up that come Friday, you’ll be able to check out a lot of episode reviews! They’ll be online, and then you will be able to check them out at your own leisure. Hopefully on the other side of this we’re hoping to get some more news on a season 2 — something that does seem to be happening in the future.
