Are we going to be meeting the Big Brother: Celebrity Edition cast during the 2018 Grammys? That seems like a pretty good possibility, judging from both rumors and the latest tease that Julie Chen had to offer on Twitter today.
In the latest post via social media (see below), the show host made it clear that you would get a chance to see something during tonight’s telecast. It’s just easiest to assume that there will be some sort of cast reveal, given that Chen is doing a Facebook Live tomorrow and that could presumably be in order to talk a little bit more about the cast and some of how this upcoming season will be different than some of the others.
Judging from some of the latest rumors, including a recent tweet from Chen teasing the cast, it looks as though we’re going to get ten contestants on the upcoming season. That makes sense given that there are so many shows a week and just under a month to put them all on the air. We wouldn’t be shocked if the first eviction happens over the course of a night or two, just as we wouldn’t be altogether shocked if there are still five or six people still in the house on finale night. The producers are probably going to do all they can to get as much burn out of some of these celebrities as possible. We’d keep all of them around, if possible, and have them all serve as the jury. We don’t need to have America out there turning this into a popularity contest; there are international versions of the show for that.
Big Brother: Celebrity Edition premieres on CBS Wednesday, February 7. As soon as the entire cast of the show is revealed, we’re of course going to have more information all about them! That includes daily spotlights and plenty of snark. It wouldn’t be our Big Brother coverage without a little bit of playful fun!
