Elementary season 6 and the Monday ratings expectations

If Elementary season 6 wants to be comparable to season 5, we don’t think that the bar is set all that high given its move to a better timeslot. We think that the expectation should be for the show to average a 0.7. That’s closer to the 0.8 that Scorpion is drawing at the moment in this timeslot. Elementary really should be striving for the best given that it’s summer on a Monday night — what else are viewers going to be doing? If Elementary airs straight through, they should be able to get the entirety of their order out between late April and September when new programs return to the air. A 0.6 or 0.7 rating is probably what Elementary shoudl strive for now now in the event that CBS wants a renewal.
