The Brave: Will someone die during season 1 finale?
NBC’s The Brave ends its freshmen season this Monday and the newly released promo that CarterMatt has for you below hints at trouble ahead. The episode will pick up where last week’s episode ended. Dalton’s team was tasked with a mission to rescue a young girl who hacked into a U.S. submarine with nuclear weapons aboard, but was sidetracked when the team came face to face with a man, (Hoffman) the U.S. originally perceived as dead. This prompted Patricia to join in the team in Turkey in order to gain intel from him. So what could happen during the season 1 finale based on the promo?
Well we know that Patricia has a personal relationship with Hoffman, not only as his former handler, but also as his former lover. In the promo Patricia seems determined to get intel in order to save many innocent lives. Her demeanor is focused with a hint of anger, probably from the fact that she truly thought he was dead and not working against the U.S. Patricia also might feel responsible for him going rogue since she was his handler and could see getting the intel out of him as a way to make up for the guilt she feels.
Then there’s the fact that the promo hints at someone dying during the ordeal. But who? Well it’s hard to say exactly who given that the promo doesn’t give too much away. What we do know is that the team could be caught in a dangerous trap that could be fatal to someone. The promo teases an explosion and a worried Patricia, as well as Dalton’s team willing to do anything, but as we stated before, this could go sideways.
Overall, there are many avenues the season 1 finale could take. However, no matter what direction the writers take, fans are sure to be for a treat. We were in suspense just watching the promo so if that’s any indication of how this episode will go, then you definitely want to tune in this Monday.
