The Crown season 3 will feature Princess Diana in some form

The Crown season 3 is going to face a lot of pressure for a number of different reasons, starting with the following: This is the first real opportunity that we have to get to know someone like Princess Diana through the lens of the show. Obviously she is one of the most important people in the modern era for the United Kingdom. Even though she was not born of Royal Blood, she was treated like royalty the moment she married Prince Charles. She was the people’s princess and there is such an interest in seeing how she is portrayed on this show. As a matter of fact, The Crown season 3 is going to be in direct competition with another show in Feud, which going to be chronicling the life and marriage of Prince Charles and Princess Diana in a completely different manner.

According to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter, the upcoming third season is going to introduce Princess Diana close to the end of the season. This character will then play a major part in the upcoming fourth season and then even potentially a season 5. The Crown season 5 has not been officially renewed as of yet, but it seems as though that is a given. This is a show that is drawing a very heavily upscale audience to Netflix. It costs a pretty penny to make, but we’re pretty sure that the streaming service is going to want to keep it going for however long it possibly can. By the time we do get to season 5 though, it’s going to take an entirely new cast to make the series success all over again.  We’ve already seen most of the major players be replaced once, and that could happen again at the conclusion of season 4.

So what about some other very important people when it comes to The Crown? Rest assured that there are many other notable castings for the show in the near future. Take, for example, Camilla Parker-Bowles. She obviously has a very important role to play in most of the story coming up.

There could be more interesting faces depending on just how long The Crown decides to chronicle Queen Elizabeth’s life. For example, it’s certainly possible that we could get to the point where the show is casting Kate Middleton. What about Meghan Markle? That is certainly an interesting question as well, mostly because we could actually get to a point where Meghan Markle could be cast as Meghan Markle. Obviously we don’t actually think that’s going to happen, but it’d be fun.
