Bring It Back 2018: Hannibal declared official champion in close vote
Over the past several days, many of our readers have been voting on one simple question: What show do they want to see back for another season? This is the focus of our CarterMatt Bring it Back article series, which is all about saving shows worthy of another chance. We’ve received tens of thousands of votes in the tournament, but today we are pleased to announce the official winner.
There were some hard-fought battle during the series, but here in the finals we have to stay at the winner won by a pretty solid margin. We are looking towards Hannibal. At the end of the voting window, the cancelled NBC show ended up receiving more than 40% of the vote. In second place was Good Behavior on TNT, which drew around 35%. Both were impressive totals, but there can only be one winner.
What makes Hannibal such an interesting choice for this Bring It Back article series is that the show hasn’t actually been on the air in a while. At the same tim,e what makes it interesting is that the demand for more episode has never gone away. The writers and producers have always been interested in coming back for more, and the same goes for the cast. The rights for the show are now up in the air, so technically Hannibal season 4 could air anywhere at almost any time. It seems a little unrealistic to say that another season will be broadcast in 2018, but we hope through this article series that even more attention has been brought to the cause. The biggest thing that could help Hannibal is being able to get more potential people aware that the show is still out there and the demand for more episode is as enormous as ever. Let’s hope this win contributes to that.
So to all the Hannibal fans out there, congratulations! You’ve really earned this, and we hope that there are some more great things coming your way in the future. You better believe that we will have more news on the subject the moment it is announced.
As for Good Behavior, we do hope that finishing second helps in some respect. We’re still waiting on the formal renewal/cancellation news here.
