Lucifer season 3 episode 13 preview: Lucifer and Cain’s domestic bliss

Are you ready to see Lucifer season 3 episode 13 airing on Fox next week? If so, you’ve got a lot to be excited about. “Till Death Do Us Part” is one of the strangest episodes of the entire season just from the vantage point of focusing explicitly on two characters doing something that is far outside of their comfort zone. The two characters that we’re speaking of, in the event that you haven’t heard about it already, are Lucifer and Cain. These two are going undercover as lovers, and somewhere along the way they may end up being able to solve a crime. (You better hope so, since otherwise they are wasting everyone’s time.) This is far from the first time that we have seen “watch these two people pretend to be a couple in suburban paradise” as a plot device on a crime show, but it’s a little bit different in this case given the natural tension that is there between these two guys. This should be fun since they have to restrain the desire to be at one another’s throats.

When an ecstasy cook-turned-chemistry-teacher is found murdered in a cozy Los Angeles suburb, Lucifer and Pierce must go undercover to help track down the killer. Meanwhile, Maze has a newfound attraction for someone that she used to despise and Charlotte has a revelation in the all-new “Til Death Do Us Part” episode of LUCIFER airing Monday, Jan. 29 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

When it comes to the mere nature of characters being undercover, there is something that we really like about this Lucifer episode that’s very different. In some ways, Lucifer is already undercover and has been ever since the pilot. The same goes for Marcus Pierce. Basically, what this episode is doing is having these two characters go undercover as other characters who are undercover. There’s going to be a lot of humor here but at the end of the day they do have a very specific goal that they’re trying to achieve. In order for them to keep up the ruse as a part of the police force, they have to do a good job.
