NCIS: Los Angeles season 9: What we want to see before finale

John M. Jackson

Is NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 14 new tonight on CBS? We absolutely understand why you (or anyone) would want some more news episodes for the show, given that the series ended last week with one of the best cliffhangers in recent memory. Hetty proved that she was willing to take a bite out of crime in order to buy herself some time, and she certainly needs it given what is happening to her.

Unfortunately, you’re going to be waiting for a while in order to see the aftermath of this said cliffhanger. CBS has confirmed to CarterMatt that NCIS: Los Angeles season 9 episode 14 will air on Sunday, March 11. The bad news is that clearly, there’s going to be a long wait to see the remainder of the season. However, the good news is this: When the show does return to CBS, you’re going to have a chance to see new episodes almost straight through the rest of the way. There will be a brief interruption because of the Academy of Country Music Awards, but other than that you’re going to be seeing most episodes air straight through the rest of the way.

So what would we like to see? It’s going to be pretty obvious that at the top of the list is Hetty’s rescue. We do think that this is going to happen, mostly because it would probably lead to an internet revolt if the series doesn’t give you that after forcing us to wait for so long to see what could be coming up for her. Beyond that we’re interested in determining if there are some other shake-ups in the team. Are Hidoko and Mosley going to stick around after Hetty returns, and are there going to be any sort of familiar / new faces who turn up?

Of course, outside of the story of the show itself there are questions aplenty regarding whether or not there is going to be a season 10 renewal of NCIS: Los Angeles. We’re fairly confident that it will happen, but we’ll certainly feel a lot better when it actually happens.
