SAG Awards 2018: Start time, where to watch, live stream red carpet pre-show
Today, the SAG Awards 2018 are going to air on TNT and TBS, and all signs suggest that this could be one of the more entertaining editions of the awards show in recent memory. For starters, it’s clearly got the best host for the job in Kristen Bell! The star of The Good Place is playing a role (host) that the SAG Awards do not often formally have, and with that we imagine that there is going to be a very interesting vibe and feel to the show this year.
Also, we’re going to go ahead and say that the show is going to be a heck of a lot of fun this time. Sometimes the SAG Awards can get a little bit bland and predictable, but we think that with this particular host selection, there is great potential for things to play out a little bit differently than they have in the past.
Let’s get now to sharing some of the details — the SAG Awards 2018 are going to be picking off today at around 8:00 p.m. Eastern on TNT / TBS, and we imagine that there are going to be many an interesting conversation topic that we have a chance to see play out over the course of the evening. Take, for example, James Franco — the actor is planning to attend after being nominated for The Disaster Artist, even though he has been at the center of sexual misconduct allegations.
