Taken season 2 episode 3 preview: Bryan Mills as Robin Hood
What’s the reasoning for that? Well, we like to think of it in this way: Bryan likes to be a champion for the forgotten people. He wants to care about people who others don’t. With that, he’s got a little bit of a Robin Hood mentality. That plays into the story coming up on the show next week.
Below, the Taken season 2 episode 3 synopsis has some more information regarding specifics:
A laid-off worker kidnaps a high-powered accountant in revenge for his lost pension, and the team gets swept up in a case of class warfare when Bryan (Clive Standen) decides to help the kidnapper get justice. Also starring Jennifer Beals (Christina Hart), Adam Goldberg (Kilroy) and Jessica Camacho (Santana). Guest starring Sonia Dhillon Tully (Valerie Banner), John Bolger (Benedict), Peter Bryant (Norman) and Chantele Francis (Kate).
This episode is going to do a good job further establishing the sense of morality that exists within the heart of Taken. This is a show where we often see bad things happen to good people, and Bryan Mills over time has established himself as a champion to many of these said people. He wants to do everything that he can to help the disadvantaged, but what makes this situation a little bit different than most others is that we’re talking here about a kidnapper. It’s one thing to help someone who is certainly in need, but it’s something entirely different when this person in need takes such drastic measures in order to get revenge. Eventually there does come a time when you have to wonder as to how much is too much. That’s something that Bryan himself still has to figure out. He’s went through quite a bit and may still be working to channel some of that pain.
