Blue Bloods season 8 episode 14 return date for Donnie Wahlberg, cast

Blue Bloods season 8

Want to know the Blue Bloods season 8 episode 14 return date? We’ve got that for you below, and then also a wide array of details to go along with it!

Let’s start here by stating the simple facts: Blue Bloods season 8 episode 14, entitled “School of Hard Knocks,” is going to be coming on the air on Friday, February 2. That means that there is no new episode of the show airing on CBS next week. That certainly does bum us out, but at the same time we’re not altogether shocked about it. There are only 22 episodes a season and there have to be some breaks in there somewhere.

One thing you should know here is that Blue Bloods season 8 episode 14 is going to be airing somewhat on an island. There is no new episode of the show airing on February 9, after all; “School of Hard Knocks” may end up being the only one that airs in the month of February thanks to the Winter Olympics.

If you look below, the Blue Bloods season 8 episode 14 synopsis has a little more insight for you in terms of what is coming up:

“School of Hard Knocks” – When a student is shot by a rival gang member in his high school courtyard, Danny and Baez try to get a grasp on the situation to prevent a reoccurrence, but the principal, Darryl Ward (Ernie Hudson), recklessly takes matters into his own hands. Also, Erin tries to help her friend, Mickey (Raphael Sbarge), who is mixed up in an illegal gambling ring, and Governor Mendez (David Zayas) tries to frame Frank after one of his top legislative aides is shot by an NYPD officer, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Feb. 2 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

It’s pretty clear that there is a lot to love about this episode just on the basis of guest stars — after all, where else do you get a chance to see a Ghostbusters actor, a Once Upon a Time alum, and a key component of Dexter all in one place? Sbarge, Zayas, and Hudson are all accomplished actors and they should all bring something unique and interesting to this story. Beyond just that, we’re of course interested in seeing the moral debate that goes along with Hudson’s character — someone who may want good things but goes about them in a very bad way.
