Scandal season 7 episode 9 preview: What happened to Quinn?

What is coming up in regards to Scandal season 7 episode 9? On paper, it’s still a little bit too early to know for certain given that ABC has yet to confirm much beyond the title. “Good People” is the name behind the story you are going to get next week, and just that name alone seems to signal that you are looking at an installment that is, in part, about a giant oxymoron.

Look at things this way: Are there really many good people on this show at all? It’s easy to doubt that given that there aren’t many showing these sort of behavior patterns. Instead, what we’re really getting a sense of many times over now is that we’ve got selfish people across the board at the White House and beyond, and in some cases we’ve got cruel people. Olivia Pope is certainly fitting the bill for the latter with some of her actions as of late — they may be necessarily in her mind, but to others they certainly come across as cold.

There are reasons to wonder as to why ABC hasn’t released much in the way of information about this episode in advance; typically, the conventional wisdom in these cases is to think that there is something very specific they want to keep hidden — almost as though giving away anything about the upcoming episode would give the current one away. That may very well be the case here and we’re just going to have to keep watch tonight.

Luckily, the promo below offers up a little more information — it appears that Scandal season 7 episode 9 is going to be all about Quinn and what happened to her. We’re thrilled to have answers, and to get more Katie Lowes since we weren’t sure that we would get to see her again soon because of her real-life pregnancy at the time.
