Supernatural season 13 episode 11 preview: Sam and Dean help Donna
This upcoming episode, which carries with it the title of “Breakdown,” is going to feature Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles’ characters do everything that they can to help Donna, who is going to be very much in need following what happens with her niece Wendy. We know that this in itself is not altogether specific, but the Supernatural season 13 episode 11 synopsis below does a good job of offering up some more insight:
TIME TO RETURN THE FAVOR – Donna (guest star Briana Buckmaster) calls Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) for help after her niece, Wendy (guest star Sarah Dugdale), goes missing. The three hunters discover Wendy was kidnapped by a man who sells human parts to monsters in a grotesque online auction and race to save her before it is too late. Amyn Kaderali directed the episode written by Davy Perez (#1311). Original airdate 1/25/2018.
There are many different things to appreciate in advance about this episode, but to us one of the most interesting ones is just the idea of stepping a man who is involved in the human body party – monster trade. Out of all the things that somehow could possibly be involved with, this has to be somewhere near the very top of the list. It’s strange, a little bit grotesque, and it serves as yet another reminder of how great Supernatural can be when they start to really think outside of the box and be a little weird. The show’s honestly better when they are.
We imagine that, beyond this, there will at least be Wayward Sisters references the rest of the season, regardless of whether or not the series ends up coming on the air.
