Bring It Back 2018 finals: Should The 100, Hannibal, The Brave, or Good Behavior be saved?
Welcome to the Bring It Back 2018 finals! We had a nice turnout of voters in the first round of the tournament last week, one where we did our best to answer one relatively-simple question: Which shows are the most deserving of being brought back for another season? This is obviously a question that everyone is going to have their own opinion on, but that is a big part of what makes this fun.
Out of the twenty shows that were in the first round of the tournament, we saw in the end four shows emerge to the finals: The Brave, The 100, Hannibal, and Good Behavior. This is a nice mix in that we’ve got one show currently on the air, one that still has another season to air, one that has been off the air for years, and one that wrapped up its most-recent season at the end of this past year.
At the bottom of this article, be sure to vote for which show you want to see saved! The winner will be our Bring It Back champion for the year and while this by no means guarantees a renewal, we do think that it will be a strong indicator to a given network as to the size of a show’s fandom. It’ll make it that much harder to cancel.
Voting concludes on Tuesday, January 23 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific time. Following this time, we will announce a winner.
Now, let’s take a closer look at the nominees.
The 100 – All four shows were fairly dominant in the first round of voting, and the enthusiasm for The 100 is especially unique. After all, this season technically still has another batch of episodes still to air and we’re more than interested to see how these installments fare in the ratings! Note that you’re voting her to see the series get a season 6 renewal in addition to the fifth season already set to air.
The Brave – The NBC show is gearing up now for the final two episodes of the season, ones that should hopefully generate a lot of excitement for a second season. That is by no means a sure thing, but we are definitely seeing a loyal audience form out there. That’s not always easy for a series only in its first season.
Good Behavior – Two seasons in, the TNT drama starring Michelle Dockery has already generated a loyal audience — and we’ve already coined it one of the cult shows on TV that really should be mainstream and we really have no idea why it isn’t. With its premise and its performances, it really should be getting even better numbers.
Hannibal – There’s been buzz mounting about a possible season 4 revival of the one-time NBC drama, but still nothing concrete. You’re voting here to see a season 4 announcement happen in 2018 — we know that the producers are free to shop the show around; they just need to find an interested party.
