What is the most popular Grey’s Anatomy ‘ship? (January 2018)

What is the best Grey’s Anatomy ‘ship out there? We’ve been chronicling some of the greatest TV ‘ships all week long and with the ABC medical drama returning tonight, now seemed like the right time to take a look at some of the best and most-popular in 2018. There are few shows out there with more pairings/prospective pairings than this one, and while we’ve identified ten of the most-notable ones below, there are probably still going to be people who feel as though some are left out.

The only real criteria we’re using with this list in general is this: These ‘ships have to be relevant in some shape or form to who is on the show in 2018. We’re not looking once featuring departed characters, hence why there is no Callie & Arizona or Alex & Izzie on this list.

April & Jackson – They are not together right now, but that has not stopped there from being a flood of people asking about whether or not Japril will be a thing again in the near future. They still parent together and there are absolutely still feelings.

Amelia & Owen – While Omelia may not be parents, there is still a similar amount of love that is here. They care for each other and beyond that,

Arizona & Carina – It’s another relationship that has been a little hot-and-cold, but given how much fun the two had earlier this season we do think that it’s far from over at the moment.

Ben & Bailey – They could be in for a tough time coming up, given that there is that upcoming spin-off Jason George is leaving to do.

DeLuca & Sam – This is one of the newer ‘ships that is out there but it’s got potential. For the time being, one of the things that we’re the most excited about is that DeLuca is getting his own love interest rather than someone else’s.

Jo & Alex – After so much trouble and turmoil the two finally seem to be on the verge of having a long-term relationship that lasts. Hopefully, the upcoming story with Paul Stalder doesn’t change that.

Meredith & Alex – It’s worth inclusion just because there are still some people out there who are fans, though personally we think that its relevance is starting to fade a little bit. It seems as though Alex is charting more towards Jo and Meredith has her own story.

Maggie & Jackson – We know that this ‘ship is polarizing in its own way but there have definitely been hints that something could be coming for the two in the future — something that could either advance the relationship or slow it down.

Richard & Catherine – They’re one of the more stable couples on the show and while they aren’t always flashy, they do have some fun stories here and there that are always worth telling.

Owen & Carina – Was this a flash in the pan or something more? Right now we’d say the former, but this is still something that is worth watching over the course of the second half of the season.
