Chicago PD season 5 episode 13 return date for ‘Chasing Monsters’
Alas, there is no new episode on NBC next week, as we’re getting a brief one-week hiatus before two more installments. These installments will pave the way in turn for the Winter Olympics, which air through most of the month of February. On the other side of that there will be another run of episodes — given that there will still be quite a few to get through after the fact, there’s a lot you will get a chance to enjoy moving forward if you’re a Chicago PD fan.
Below, the Chicago PD season 5 episode 13 synopsis offers up a whole host of details regarding what’s coming up in “Chasing Monsters,” a harrowing episode potentially for Voight and Antonio both:
01/31/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : WHEN A GANG FROM EL SALVADOR INFILTRATES CHICAGO, INTELLIGENCE WORKS WITH A VISITING DETECTIVE TO PUT AN END TO THE CREW’S BRUTAL TACTICS. And Antonio (Jon Seda) finds himself getting close to the Salvadoran Detective, Marcella Gomez (guest star Sofia Lama), only to learn she has a hidden motive for being in Chicago. Meanwhile, Voight (Jason Beghe) learns that the body of his son’s killer has been found. Also starring Jesse Lee Soffer, Patrick John Flueger, Elias Koteas, Marina Squerciati, LaRoyce Hawkins, Amy Morton and Tracy Spiridakos. Guest starring Ricardo Gutierrez, Chike Johnson and Rene L. Moreno.
The issues that Voight and Antonio are going through are certainly very different; at present, there’s far more reason to be worried about the former. As we reported earlier today, it’s hardly a surprise that some ghost from Voight’s past would resurface; he may think that some of the people he killed deserved it, but this doesn’t exactly reconcile the fact that he killed people. Voight is a murderer. It’s a fact of this show that he really cannot avoid, even if he would like to. We knew that this would come back to bite him eventually; even if he doesn’t get arrested this time around, there is always a chance of that.
