After a female pundit is assaulted during a protest, Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Barba (Raul Esparza) struggle to put their political beliefs aside in order to help bring the attacker to justice. Also starring Ice T (Det. Odafin Tutuola), Kelli Giddish (Det. Amanda Rollins) and Peter Scanavino (Det. Sonny Carisi). Guest starring Rhea Seehorn (Martha Cobb), Tuck Sweeney (Henry Anderson), Adam William Zastrow (Justin Vichinsky), Kurt Fuller (Jed Karey), Jonathan Judge-Russo (Randy Platt) and Lee Roy Rogers (Selma Platt).
SVU is known for getting fantastic guest stars, and clearly “Info Wars” is no exception. Seehorn, best known for her outstanding (and Emmy-worthy) work as Kim Wexler on Better Call Saul, filmed this episode prior to returning to New Mexico to start season 4 filming earlier this month. We anticipate an especially meaty role for her here; SVU guest stars often tackle incredibly meaty material as they play characters experiencing some of the worst days of their lives.
Looking beyond SVU season 19 episode 12
There will be one more episode of the series airing on NBC come February 7, and that will be the final one before the network puts the show on an Olympic hiatus. It’ll be back on the other side of the Winter Games, and when it does come back there will still be a strong batch of episodes left to check out. We’ll have more news there in due time.
