What is the most-popular NCIS, NCIS: Los Angeles, or NCIS: New Orleans ‘ship? (January 2018)

NCIS 'ships

Mrs. Carter: There have been many different notable NCIS ‘ships over the years, but which one is the best?

This is in many ways a near-impossible question to answer, largely because there are so many different pairings that are out there! We’re talking here about three different shows spanning multiple decades. There have been many different relationships that have come and gone during that time and some we are still salty over losing.

For the sake of this CarterMatt article, what we’ve done is compile what we believe to be five of the most-relevant current NCIS ‘ships that we seen people talking about over the past twelve or so months. These are the ‘ships that many out there celebrate, or want to celebrate provided the characters get together. Consider this just a fun little feature while we wait for more new episodes of the series to come on the air.

At the bottom of the article, we want you to vote for your favorite! We’ll keep this poll open between now and Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Eastern time (1:00 p.m. Pacific), when some of the results will be revealed. (If you’re visiting on mobile and cannot see the poll be sure to click to view the non-AMP version of the page.)

McGee & Delilah (McLilah), NCIS – When Delilah first arrived on the scene, we honestly weren’t sure whether or not the relationship between her and Tim would last. Yet, the two ended up being so delightful to watch that it became very hard to imagine the show without her or them together. Now, the two have one of the best marriages on TV and we look forward to seeing how they grow into parenthood with their adorable twins.

Gibbs & Sloane, NCIS – We know that it’s not really a thing right now, but there are many fans out there starting to root for it to become something more than it is (isn’t that what ships’ are all about?). It’s possible it will, but we don’t see producers really rushing it. There’s not really a ‘ship name we’ve heard of for these two, so may we suggest … Slibbs? It’s better than “Gloane.”

Related – What’s coming up on NCIS next week?

Deeks & Kensi (Densi), NCIS: Los Angeles – Are they going to get married this season? We certainly hope so, but nothing is altogether a given with that. The one thing we are confident about is that when it comes to humor, playfulness and crime-solving ability, there are very few pairs who come close to them.

Eric & Nell (Neric), NCIS: Los Angeles – Eric & Nell are also a very fun ‘ship in their own way, mostly in that there’s no other pair on the list quite like them who works mostly behind the scenes. They’re a nice reminder that fun, geeky relationships can exist and thrive on TV just like any other.

Percy & LaSalle (Persalle), NCIS: New Orleans – Finally, we turn to City Mouse and Country Mouse, the most-popular pairing in all of New Orleans. They care about each other deeply, but they haven’t quite gotten everything together in order to make a relationship work. Is that going to change this season? We really want to see this happen.

We considered including more ‘ships on the list, including McGee / Abby, Callen / Anna, and nobody’s denying the popularity of the Tony / Ziva ‘ship, but we set out to have this article be about current ‘ships. If they were on the list then we’d have to start dipping into a lot of other ones featuring characters no longer on the show.

Now, let’s turn this over to you
