The Brave episode 12 preview: The two-part finale begins

The Brave episode 12

When The Gifted episode 12 airs on NBC in one week’s time, there is one important thing to note: This is the beginning of the two-part finale event. At the end of the month the first season is going to be over, and as a result of that we’ll have to start to look more towards the future of the Mike Vogel NBC show. The series is facing a ton of uncertainty; as a result of that, these last two episodes need to be bigger than any beforehand. They need to either figure out how to resolve the story of the first season or create a cliffhanger so fantastic that is so incredible that NBC has to bring back the show or will create throngs of angry fans in the process.

So how do we make it to the end of the season? Well, let’s just say that it involves a two-part finale event like no other. “Close to Home: Part 1” airs in just seven days’ time, and The Brave episode 12 synopsis offers up some additional insight as to what is coming:

01/22/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Monday) : When an unlikely suspect is involved in hacking a U.S. submarine, Dalton (Mike Vogel) and his team stumble upon a piece of Patricia’s past. With national security and lives at stake, Patricia (Anne Heche) heads to Turkey to confront one of her most epic demons. Also starring Tate Ellington (Noah Morgenthau), Demetrius Grosse (Ezekiel “Preach” Carter), Noah Mills (Joseph “McG” McGuire), Sofia Pernas (Hannah Rivera) and Hadi Tabbal (Amir Al-Raisani). Guest Starring James Tupper (Alex Hoffman), Chiara Aurelia (Verina Curtis), Salena Qureshi (Esma Reis) and Marc Crumpton (Victor) TV-14 V

This episode certainly seems to be exciting on paper, mostly because it makes sense so late in the season to try to bring certain demons to the forefront. Having a key Christina story at this point brings the character back to her core, and tests her like never before.
