Taken season 2 episode 2 preview: Another Clive Standen showcase

Taken season 2 episode 2

Following tonight’s premiere, all signs point to Taken season 2 episode 2 being an hour of television that is going to deliver. It will be intense, action-packed, and present an opportunity for a Clive Standen performance like no other. We’re going to see Bryan alone with someone key to a murder investigation in the middle of nowhere. It’s basically the Taken version of The Hatchet where Mills is out in the middle of nowhere and has to use a different set of skills in order to survive. We like to think of Bryan as James Bond and MacGyver rolled into a single package.

Below, the Taken season 2 episode 2 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you offers up a little bit more insight into what is going to be coming up:

When a plane crashes carrying Bryan Mills (Clive Standen) and a key witness in a murder investigation (guest star Alexander Draper), a wounded Mills must call upon the survival skills his father taught him to overcome the elements, find a way out of the woods and protect the witness from a lethal team of mercenaries on their tail. Meanwhile, Santana organizes a ‘go big or go home’ plan to locate the downed plane. Also starring Jennifer Beals (Christina Hart) and Adam Goldberg (Kilroy). Also guest starring Tahmoh Penikett (David Ramsey), Ian Matthews (Morse), Isaac Kragten (young Bryan Mills), Tara Nicodemo (Allie Graham), Gabriel Varga-Watt (Jamie Graham), Colin Lawrence (Hicks) and Thomas Mitchell (Rollins).

There are some similarities here between this episode and the Taken season 2 premiere, namely in that both are going to feature Bryan separated from the rest of his new team, trying to find a way to survive despite fairly-impossible odds. The big difference, of course, comes in setting. The premiere was a different climate, and with a version of Bryan who clearly hadn’t seen a razor in a rather-long time. The new episode next week should feature a very different version of him, one who probably doesn’t have to spend a ton of time fighting in prison to stay alive.

If you loved the premiere, though, there’s a pretty good chance that you’re going to love this up coming episode equally as much, so make sure you tune in live to make sure you don’t miss anything!
