Taken season 2 cast explain changes, series’ future
In this clip, you can have a chance to see Clive Standen and Jennifer Beals describe their return to the series; to go along with that, you also see some new cast members featured including Jessica Camacho of The Flash fame. Everyone will be coming together for a new story, one that is going to feature Bryan Mills captured. It’s going to be up to Beals’ character to form a new team and figure out a way to ensure his safety.
Once that happens — and we’re pretty sure that it will — this show can really get down to kicking butt and taking names. You should also go ahead and expect there to be all sorts of callbacks to the movies every step of the way. It’s a big part of its identity! While we’re slightly worried about the numbers going into the Taken premiere (it’s inevitable when you think about Friday night being a tough spot) we do also think that there are some ways in which it could be successful there.
For starters, we do think that Taken season 2 does benefit from having a popcorn-movie feel to it. For those out there who want to see a close estimation of that on the small screen, they could have it here. Also, it tonally fits in rather well with Blindspot.
This video gives you a small taste as to what’s coming, but we do think a lot of it beyond the premiere story is left vague intentionally. You want there to be some mystery, and this could also be a story told in chapters. After the saga of Bryan in prison is over, there is another story altogether that could be unlocked.
