Blue Bloods season 8 episode 14 spoilers: Who’s framing Frank?

Blue Bloods season 8

Even though Blue Bloods season 8 episode 14 is going to be the last installment before we get around to the Winter Olympics, the show is clearly going out with a bang.

This episode, (entitled “School of Hard Knocks”) is going to feature one guest-starring appearance that you may have known about before now in Ernie Hudson. The living legend is playing the part of a high school principal who gets a little bit too involved in some of his methods to present problems at school. Beyond him, we also do have two other notable guest stars. Once Upon a Time actor Raphael Sbarge (who we personally love from his Mass Effect voice over work) is going to be stopping by as a friend of Erin’s, while Dexter alum David Zayas is going to be returning as the Governor of the state.

For a little more news regarding Blue Bloods season 8 episode 14, be sure to check out the attached synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below:

“School of Hard Knocks” – When a student is shot by a rival gang member in his high school courtyard, Danny and Baez try to get a grasp on the situation to prevent a reoccurrence, but the principal, Darryl Ward (Ernie Hudson), recklessly takes matters into his own hands. Also, Erin tries to help her friend, Mickey (Raphael Sbarge), who is mixed up in an illegal gambling ring, and Governor Mendez (David Zayas) tries to frame Frank after one of his top legislative aides is shot by an NYPD officer, on BLUE BLOODS, Friday, Feb. 2 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Sound intense? Well, it does seem like there is definitely a lot that is going to be coming up in this episode from start to finish. You’re going to have interesting guest stars, and beyond that also a chance to see Frank in a different sort of role than he’s used to. We’re pretty used to seeing fights between Frank and the Mayor, but the Governor is really just taking things to another level.
